Put on your favorite Halloween costume and join the Tuscarawas Philharmonic for an afternoon of spooky musical fun the whole family will enjoy! The adventure begins at 2:00 PM with trick-or-treating in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas before the orchestra takes the stage for a 3:00 PM matinee concert filled with thrilling music, laughter, and surprises.

Journey through some of the orchestra's most famous spine-tingling masterpieces, including Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain and Berlioz's "Dream of a Witches' Sabbath" from Symphonie fantastique. Along the way, young listeners and the young at heart will discover the instruments of the orchestra through The Composer Is Dead, the wildly entertaining musical mystery by Nathaniel Stookey based on the book by Lemony Snicket. Part orchestra guide and part whodunit, this clever work introduces each section of the orchestra as detectives investigate the mysterious demise of...the composer!
