About the event
Dancers age 8-14 with 2 years or more of studio experience are invited to this intermediate/advanced program. Dancers will explore dance styles, history, technique, and choreography. The dance camp will conclude with a premier performance with students from the Philharmonic String Camp.
Instruction will be provided by Shannon Mitchell. Shannon has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ohio Northern University where she minored in both Modern and Ballet Dance. She has danced in residency with Ballet Memphis, Gus Giordano Dance Company, LA Jazz/Tap Ensemble, and many others. She has over 25 years of dance studio teaching experience and is an award-winning choreographer.
