Make Mine Bernstein

Saturday, April 21, 2018 | 7:30 PM

Not that we need an excuse to play the music of Leonard Bernstein and to celebrate his multi-faceted genius, but 2018 is the Bernstein centenary, so we’re going all in. On this amazing program, we’ll present some of the well-known music from West Side Story and the dazzling “Candide Overture.” Clarinetist James Perone will be the featured soloist, and we’ll welcome the young musicians of the High School Honors Band to the stage for a music festival honoring an American legend.
